Compiled by Curtis Radford (SCCS Member #1) Souvenir Card Collectors Society
This book is unique and has hand-written note: Ginny, many thanks for your support of the SCCS. Signed Curtis D. Radford M.D. and numbered ONE of 100 Collector Editons It is 242 pages and in mint condition.
Bound into the book are three intanglio souvenir cards, inside the cover, an SCCS logo, (opposite pg 124) Card N1 variant & (opposite pg 134) Card SO42.
The book has many black & white images of early Souivenir Cards & Engravingsm but the best part is the detailed description of a miriad of souvenir cards.
There are several pages of advertisements in the back.

This is the soft-bound version of the above reference book with identical content, exept it does not contin the three souvenir cards.
The book has many black & white images of early Souivenir Cards & Engravingsm but the best part is the detailed description of a miriad of souvenir cards.
There are several pages of advertisements in the back, following page 229.
The cover of the book is partially separated at the fold, likely due to a stiff cardboard used to keep it from bending during shipping. It is in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear.

    1997 Mellone's Photo Encyclopedia of Souvenir Cards. By Howard C. Tiffner
This is the original reference for collectors of Souvenir Cards. It uses the SCCS numbering system. Topics included are: BEP, Ducks, Forerunners, U.S. Postal Service, Security Printers (Semi-Official), ABNC Archive Series, UN and added information for the collector.
The book is 104 pages with illustrations in black & white. The condition is 'Like New'.

    2008 Souvenir Cards: A Visual Reference. By The Souvenir Card Collectors Society, 2008.
This is essentially an organized, updated and expanded sequel to the above volume.
The Introduction has a nice history of Souvenir Cards and the Reference Books that came before this.
It includes sections on BEP, PS, Semi-Official, ASDA (& ASDA Chapters), SCCS National & Chapters, Forerunner, Federal Managers Association, UN and ANA. The book is 126 pages in a soft 3-ring binder. It is used, but the pages are all present and in good, readable condition.
This book illustrates only 'mint' souvenir cards.
   
             
    2009 Souvenir Cards: A Visual Reference. By The Souvenir Card Collectors Society, Second Edition, 2009.
This update to the above volume includes the same sections plus a American Philatelic Society (APS), Michael Bean (MB), Lee Quast (Q) and Fish & Wildlife Service (Duck) cards.
This is a used book, with all pages present and in good condition. The title page has 'The Bible for S/C' written by owner and there are 'check marks' throughout the book, probably indicating the previous owner's collection. There are also a few notes and one or two stains, but nothing affecting the readability of the book.

    2005 The inernational Engraver's Line, by Gene Hessler, 2005
Thius 381 page hard bound book is dedicated to the lives and work of designers and engravers throughout the world who have worked and continue to work in this incredible profession. Note that artists who worked in the United States are not included in this volume, as they are included in The Engravers Line. The book is organized by artist and includes a multitude of samples found on banknotes, stamps and other documents, as well as information on their lives and work. It is a rare book, in like new condition.

    2001 The Engraving Art of Czeslaw Slania, Revised Edition, December 2001.
Czeslaw Slania is one of the world's premier engravers producing engravings for stamps, stationery, labels, souvenir cards and more. This is the fourth revision of the book listing all of his works. The book is peppered with many black & white illustrations of his work.
It is 54 pages and in Like New condition.
   
    2008 The Engraving Art of Czeslaw Slania, Revised Edition, May 2008.
This is the updated and expanded follow-up to the edition above. This, the fifth revision is now 124 pages and is still black & white.
The condition is 'Like New'.
   
    Slania by Zygmunt K. Jagodozinski, 2006. This volume on the Polish Graphic Artist and outstanding engraver, Czeslaw Slania, 1921-2005. The book is a limited edition of only 500 copuies. This book is number 124 and is signed by the author. It is 224 pages and containsmany preliminary drawings & sketches and many of the stamps and banknotes arranged by subject.
The texgt is printed in synchronized colums of Polish and English.

  1994 Czeslaw Slania's Life's Work by Lennart Bernadotte
This book is 222 pages in a 4-ring binder designed to allow the reader to remove pages so they can be viewed much like a color photographic slide. There are many color reporductions of his stamps, banknotes and other engravings. The text is in both Polish and English.

  1974 The National Postal Museum published by the Canada Post Office in a limited edition of 1,200. This one is numbered No. 940, September 27, 1974. The book measures 12 1/2 x 8-3/4 inches and is 112 pages
This book commenorated the Canadian National Postal Museum and introduces it to the reader. There are eleven engravings by the British American Bank Note Company and the Canadian Bank Note Comopany, similar to the image at left, as well as many actual commemorative postage stamps and other inserts.

Ameripex 86 Catalog
This book is 346 pages plus an additonal section of over 40 pages of advertising outlining the show and events from May 22 to June 1, 1986. The cover has a hologram of the Statue of Liberty. The book is full of information on exhibits and presentations. It contains a number of reproductions of souvenir cards and souvenir stamp sheets.
The book is in almost new condition.
