NORTH RHODESIA STAMPS |
|||||||||||||
The original British South Africa was divided in 1923 and the area south of the Zambezi River became Southern Rhodesia. In 1924, the remaining area became the Protectorate of Norther Rhodesia. These combined to become the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, established September 3, 1953. In 1964, it became Rhodesia, and Rhodesia became Zimbabwe on April 18, 1980. The stamp selections are mostly early issues with moderate to high prices. We have much more available. Please contact us with a "Want List" for more material.
